Extremely rare 1955 Mercury Montclair SunValley. In 1955 only 1,787 Sun Valley\'s were produced as opposed to 10,668 Convertibles. Today only 55 examples remain in the world. This is one of only 17 registered in North America certainly making this a very highly collectible automobile. This particular example was treated to a full frame off rotisserie restoration to the tune of over $130,000. Finished in Saffron Yellow accented with Raven Black trim and complimented with a two-tone black and yellow cloth-vinyl deluxe interior which has been restored to factory original style condition. Most importantly it still retains the original green tinted transparent roof which is what makes this car truly unique and also includes the impossible to find roll away sunshades. Much care was given to every aspect of the restoration including the undercarriage which as seen in the pictures is just as detailed and immaculate as the rest of the vehicle. The original 292ci V8 has been restored to factory specs and produces 198hp which was the top of the line motor in Mecury\'s line up at the time and is mated to the original Merc-O-Matic transmission. This Sun Valley came equipped from the factory with power steering, power brakes, factory continental kit, fog lights, radio with front-rear speakers, heater, passenger side mirror, chrome stone guard, deluxe interior, 6 New white wall tires and possibly others I may have overlooked.
