This is a nice 2001 MERCURY GRAND MARQUIS There has been only one owner of this vehicle. When we obtained this vehicle, the owner stated that the mileage was accurate. This vehicle has no defects. Never smoked in, upholstery in near perfect condition. This vehicle shows no signs of any collision damage or body repairs. There are no dings visible on the exterior of this vehicle. I have looked this vehicle over and can find no fade or sun damage. It appears to have been garage kept. This auto's tranny is smooth; no skip or slip when it shifts. The Mercury Grand Marquis is a full-size rear-wheel drive sedan branded by the Mercury division of the Ford Motor Company and manufactured at the St. Thomas Assembly Plant in Canada. It was also built in St. Louis, Missouri until 1985. It is also the only vehicle sold in Canada that still wears a Mercury badge. The Grand Marquis, Mercury's flagship sedan, is essentially a slightly more luxurious version of the Ford Crown Victoria. It comes in five main trim levels; GS (base model), GS Convenience, LS Premium, LS Ultimate and the LSE. The trim level can be identified by the fifth, sixth and seventh digits in the VIN. A Grand Marquis GS is represented by "M74", while a Grand Marquis LS/LSE is represented by "M75".
