Description:
**PERFECTLY PRICED**WONDERFUL DRIVE**Purchasing an older vehicle, such as the 2006 Nissan Murano, makes good financial sense. You're able to avoid the steep depreciation rates that occur with brand new vehicles. This essentially gives you the advantage of getting a 2006 Nissan Murano for less money than when it was new. If the 2006 Nissan Murano was properly maintained, you also have a good chance of steering clear of problems that would have developed when the car was new. The amount you pay for an older car depends on various factors. One important element is where you buy the vehicle. You're likely to get a better deal if you buy it from a private party, as opposed to a dealer. On the other hand, a reputable dealer will normally have some kind of limited warranty, so you can drive away knowing that if the car breaks down right away, you'll be covered. Another factor that may affect price on a 2006 Nissan Murano is whether it's certified by the manufacturer. A certified vehicle will cost more because warranty service is provided that normally doesn't come with a used car. Another dynamic that will play into the purchase price is the resale value. A used vehicle with a high resale value will obviously cost you more. It is expected that the 2006 Nissan Murano will have a good resale value. This assumes that the 2006 Nissan Murano is in good condition and has a reasonable number of miles. 2006 Nissan Murano Warranty Program Basic 3 year / 36,000 miles Free Maintenance N/A Drivetrain 5 year / 60,000 miles Roadside 3 year / 36,000 miles 2006 Nissan Murano Performance & Efficiency Standard Features - 3,498 cc 3.5 liters V 6 front engine with 95.5 mm bore, 81.4 mm stroke, 10.3 compression ratio, double overhead cam, variable valve timing/camshaft and four valves per cylinder VQ35DE - Unleaded fuel 87 - Fuel economy EPA highway (mpg): 24 and EPA city (mpg): 19 - Multi-point injection fuel system - 21.7 gallon main unleaded fuel tank - Power: 183 kW

Car Facts 2006 NISSAN MURANO Fun Facts

The Nissan Murano is a near-luxury mid-size crossover SUV manufactured by Nissan since the 2003 model year. Known as the "Maxima of SUVs", it slotted above the Pathfinder as Nissan's top-of-the-line SUV until the launch of the Armada in 2004. Designed at Nissan Design America in La Jolla, California, it is based on the Nissan FF-L platform used by the Maxima and the third-generation Altima. As of 2006, the Murano slots between the Xterra and Pathfinder (which surpassed the Murano in size since its 2005 redesign), where it became Nissan's best-selling SUV, knocking the Pathfinder off the top spot. Despite being similar in length to the Pathfinder, it is more expensive than a Pathfinder. The Murano is also Nissan's first front-wheel drive SUV. Also, the Murano is Nissan's only crossover SUV other than the compact X-Trail. The 2006 model year Murano received some updates in the form of LED tailamps and turn signals, standard color screen, available back-up camera (standard in Canada for all models), GPS and a restyled front end with some minor trim updates.

In 2002, the Nissan Murano was one of the first mid-sized crossover SUVs sold in the United States.

Unlike most mid-sized SUVs, the first-generation Nissan Murano only offered seating for five.
