Auto Insurance FAQ

Answer: You can get auto insurance in Montana without a drivers license. But, you will only have a specified amount of time to get your drivers license after you get the insurance - usually 45 days. If you don't have insurance by that time then the policy cancels. Without a drivers license the policy will be more expensive since they do not have a driving history to look at for you. The easiest way to get insured would probably be online in this case. Make sure to comparison shop. Many companies charge outrageous prices for drivers without licenses while others just add a small surcharge. You may want to try an online quoting service such as InsureMe at: http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?Refby=614506&Type=auto. They will be able to provide information and quotes.
