Just Arrived! Check it out! 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Dr Hardtop: The Paint is a gorgeous nostalgic two tone blue and white. The quarter and rocker panels are straight and solid. The Exterior trim looks Great! The chrome and aluminum trim shines with no pits or weather stains. The front and rear bumpers are new, along with the side view mirror, the hood ornament, and hood insignia. The Interior is restored blue and white, matching the exterior colors. The seats are stitched in original design. The unmolested dash is filled with the factory gauges, original clock, and radio. It has a clean carpet, with matching floor mats. The windows all roll up / down fine, and show no discoloration or oxidation. It has a new headliner, sun-visors and all new weather-stripping. The Engine and Drive Train is a 350 Chevy engine with a turbo 350 automatic trans. the engine runs strong with only mild modifications including an Edelbrock 4 bbl intake, Edelbrock 4 bbl carburetor (with electric choke), chrome valve covers, shorty headers (backed by dual exhaust), and an MSD ignition coil. it has a chrome alternator with chrome brackets, an aluminum radiator, braided hoses, and a new wiper motor. all tucked inside a nicely detailed engine compartment. The turbo 350 transmission shifts smooth, and is operated by a Locker style floor shifter. the car runs and drives out great and is overall fairly quiet. The Wheels are aluminum American Racing mags, mounted with Hoosier radial tires (with lots of tread) that hug the road tightly. The entire brake system was just overhauled with all new hoses, shoes, and a new dual reservoir master cylinder. Just installed air shocks that included installing rear shock mount brackets.
