A little about the ZR-1 history and performance specs: The ZR-1 has 11 inch wide rear wheels and 315-35-17 rear tires. The body of the vehicle had to be modified to accomodate the size of the wheels, so the ZR-1 got a unique body treatment including wider doors and rear quarter panels. The tail lights, undercarriage, suspension and exhaust are also unique to the ZR-1 model. The engine was designed in a joint effort between GM and Lotus, which GM owned at the time.
