Fuel, VP C - 23, or Sunoco Maximum 122 Red. Set up: Timing, 31 - 32 deg. carb. jets (set for altitude) 1/8th mile tune up, 1st state 30/26(250hp) turn on @ .003 seconds, retard timing 12deg. 2nd state 30/26 (250hp) on @ 1.6 seconds, retard timing 9deg turn both systems off @ 4.6 seconds. Fuel pressure on both systems 6 1/4 - 6 1/2, flowed through .72 jet. (3rd system Viper Bar set up @ 32/28, NOT USED). Have bottle, lbs. press. eng. temp 145-150deg. Arm system, open valve, purge blue button, bring to 3000 rpm & bang red buttons. Leave @ 4 rpm, shift @ 7200 rpm. (EGTs should be 1200 to 1225 deg.) Tires: 5.5 - 5.75 lbs. Wheelie Bars: Set @ 7 to center of axle bolt. Paint: Diamont Black - # 403, GM Torch Red - WA9075 IMPORTANT: Before starting, remove oil pump drive belt, & prime oil system with drill until it reaches 40 to 50 lbs. then let it set for a moment then prime to 40 to 50 lbs. again, then reinstall belt & engine is ready to Start.
