Everyone there was trying to get this baby! This car began it's life as a 3-speed manual column shift. Research indicates that the dual quad 409 Impala was available in 1962 in either a 3-speed or a 4-speed manual configuration. All indication is that this is a true SS car but we have no proof. Engine suffix code QG indicates a 1963 or 1964 Impala 409 motor. Previous owner spent alot of money on this baby. Excellent quality body on restoration. The Ermine white paint is as smooth as glass. The trim is all very nice and the interior shows well. Vintage air conditioning was added as well as the am/fm stereo with speakers. guy added the 6-speed manual transmission. There is a ton of money under the hood and with the front suspension and steering setup! The chrome hood springs will need to be replaced. They won't hold the hood up and the car is missing the spare tire and jack. I would hate to guess what the guy spent on the Zenetti chrome wheels and Michelin tires. The car does have power steering and power brakes. Ignition setup is MSG. This isn't a museum grade classic. It's a go have a blast on the weekend fun car. It has that classic good looks.
