our dealership is very pleased to bring to the marketplace this 1964 chevrolet corvette coupe. It is finished in it's original colors of silver-blue exterior and a black vinyl interior. It has been fully restored and is a great driver-weekend show car and has been upgraded with many features to make the car more comfortable to drive and enjoy. It is powered by a correct 1964 date coded 300 horsepower motor but is not original to the car and the date code is 4 months off. It does retain it's original #'s matching 4 spd transmission and original rear end. The car had been sitting for several years in a garage here in arizona and was recently purchased by a local corvette enthusiast and it was towed to a high end shop here in arizona to go through the car. While the car was in the shop the owner of the car had a family emergancy and had to relocate to the east coast and had no room for the car. The bill on the car totalled $6,000 and included completly rebuilding the heads, replacing all fluids, installed a power steering kit, flushed all the lines, replaced the water pump and anything else it needed. We picked the car up directly from the shop that did all the repairs and we have the itemized receipt with the work performed. Needless to say the car is as road ready as it gets and i drove it 30 miles accross town to my shop and was very very pleased with it. It has a vintage air conditioning system with 134a refrigerant and blows ice cold. It has an electric pusher fan in front of the radiator so it stays running cool with the air on and still retains its correct original fan under the hood as well. The audio system was upgraded with a correct fitting custom autosound radio and hidden cd changer. It has kick panel speakers and a nice soundbar in the hatch area and the stereo sounds great and easily load enough to hear it over the sidepipes. It has a new correct sidepipe exhaust system that sounds amazing and the next best thing to sidepipes on a midyear corvette is a set of knockoff wheels! The paint is very shiney and looks great from every angle. It has a few small cracks in the paint and minor scratch or 2 but certainly does not detract from the outstanding overall great looks. The panel fit on all the body panels are top notch and the car is laser straight. The chrome and the grill are also in very nice condition. The interior is in excellent condition as well and all the gauges work well and even the clock works on and off. It is well detailed under the hood and is all stock with the exception of upgraded factory aluminum valve covers. The undercarriage looks great as well as you can see in the pictures. If you are looking for a great midyear corvette to enjoy and collect for a resonable price then look no further. No only is it great looking, sounding and driving but has all the desirables, cold air conditioning, sidepipes and knock off wheels.
