This Dodge Viper GTS ACR is a rare beauty that you really need to see in-person to appreciate. It is Viper red with silver stripes. ACR stands for American Club Racing. In 2001, only 227 ACRs were built, of which only 60 were red, and of these only 29 had stripes! So this is 1 of 29 red ACRs with stripes! It is getting increasingly hard to find unmolested ACRs in stock condition. This car is completely stock with the exception of the aftermarket Pioneer indash Navigation/Stereo/Satellite Radio system. The American Club Racing (ACR) model was first introduced in 1999. The ACR model had suspension and engine enhancements focused on maximizing performance in road racing and autocross environments. Horsepower was, by the use of K&N air filters and smooth intake tubes, bumped to 460 hp in these models, while torque increased to 500 lb-ft. Weight was reduced by over 50 pounds by stripping the interior and removing other non-essential items such as the fog lamps (replacing them with brake ducts). The new stiffer, adjustable suspension removed another 14 pounds. These models, which also have engine and handling modifications, have an ACR badge and 20-spoke BBS wheels. The car comes shod with brand new Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The ACR Competition Package was a $10,000 option, plus $1,100 to add back the Air Conditioning and stereo. This car is in excellent shape. The interior is in great shape with no rips or tears. The exterior is perfect 10 of 10. This car has a clean CARFAX with no accidents. We run a CARFAX report on every car we buy and make that information available to you just for asking. The Kelly Blue Book retail value on this car is $47,155.
