Very solid example of the timless Mustang Convertible. Three owner, southern car that came up to DC from Mississippi. Car has been completely redone with several upgrades to improve drivability and reliability. Body was stripped and repainted with lots of new metal body panels and paint is pretty decent quality but not perfect. Interior is all new and correct as well as the power soft top which works great. All gauges, lights and signals work properly ( speedo is a little sticky) plus has nice aftermarket oil pressure/water temp/Amp gauges mounted under the dash. Originally a C code 289 but now has a rebuilt 302 with mild cam upgrade, 4bbl Holley carb, Pro Comp intake manifold, tri-Y headers and HEI- style ignition. Also newly rebuilt C-4 Trans, new torque converter along with new Ford 4 wheel disc brakes, lines, hoses and new master cylinder. Has Ford 9 inch rear, new shocks, stabilizer links, Aluminum 4-core radiator, new alternator and voltge regualtor. All records and receipts come with the car and are available upon request as well as underneath pictures. Car runs and drives fantastic and I would not hesitate to drive across country. Underneath is equally redone with new floors, fuel tank, sending unit and fuel lines plus beautiful dual exhaust that exits through the rear valance. Has nice Marnum 500 Wheels and new GF Goodrich Radial TA's tires. Overall a very solid and super reliable driver that will be fun for years to come.
