2008 Mazda MX-5 Miata Grand Touring Automatic PRHT, power retracting hard top. Such a big name for a small car. Just arrived from Florida and, as you would expect from the most experienced used Miata dealer in our region, is a handsome car with good miles and absolutely all the right stuff. After almost 47 years of selling used sports cars and having owned about every common and uncommon roadster, I can state the Miata is the most dependable and affordable ever. The S2000 is right behind, but I did say affordable. I on the other hand never thought I would say an automatic roadster could be better- but here is the exception. The automatic is a six speed that has a much higher top gear than the 5 or 6 speed manual versions and runs at highway speeds about 700 RPM lower, so quieter with less wear and fuel. Not playing the game you say? Gearshifts can be manually changed up or down at will using the shifter or the Formula 1-style paddleshifters that yield a gear change faster than on a stick. This is the power hardtop convertible with a fabulous color combination of copper-red with tan leather. The right stuff- read the description.
