This one owner 2002 Trans Am collector edition is presented in collector yellow with black interior. The 2002 Firebird marked the final year of production for Pontiac's long-running and iconic sports car which first hit the streets back in 1967. The 2002 Firebird was available as a coupe or a convertible in three trims which included the base model the Formula and the Trans Am. The 2002 Firebird was part of the fourth generation Firebird which began in 1993 and this one has only 232 miles on it. It comes with the original sticker and bill of sale and all the documentation we received from the original owner. The 2002 Pontiac Firebird was available as both a two-door coupe and convertible. The Trans Am models first retailed between $28000 and $32000. The 5.7-liter LS1 V-8 engine is a pushrod engine that has a 16-valve design with a 3.90-inch bore a 3.62-inch stroke and a compression ratio of 10.1-to-1. Output for the WS6's engine was rated at 325 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 350 foot-pounds of torque at 4000 rpm. The all-aluminum 5.7 L V8 engine was sourced from the Corvette C5 and produced 305 hp at 5200 rpm, 335 lb·ft at 4000 rpm (310 after 2000) or 320 hp (325 after 2000) in the WS-6 'Ram Air' version. The Firebird WS6 was powered by the 5.7-liter LS1 V-8 engine. This pushrod engine had a 16-valve design with a 3.90-inch bore a 3.62-inch stroke and a compression ratio of 10.1-to-1. Output for the WS6's engine was rated at 325 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 350 foot-pounds of torque at 4000 rpm. This represented an increase of 15 horsepower and 10 foot-pounds of torque over the Firebird Trans Am of the same vintage. The Firebird WS6 package was visually distinctive from the Trans Am due to its aggressive front-end styling with air intakes at the base of the hood. These Ram Air intakes allowed more air to enter the engine resulting in the WS6's increased power over the standard Trans Am model. Pontiac also added standard P275/40ZR17 Goodyear Eagle F1
