In 1963, the Alpine became available in both open and removable hardtop versions, with the final Series V produced from 1965 through 1968. The previous caretaker, having enjoyed this particular Alpine for over 25 years as a weekend runabout, recently commissioned a full driver's restoration to recreate the Sunbeam just as it was when he first purchased it.
