Extremely impressed

I like the way it looks and hugs the road. Just can't go wrong with this vehicle. For as low as it sits it took the midwest winter pretty darn good! Just keep moving!!!!! Like I stated before, the passenger seat is just too low. Can't get my handicapped mother in the front, she always has to sit in the back seat.

Overall it is a good car. Was purchased used as a second vehicle. Expenses have been mainly tires and routine maintenance. Use it on gravel roads, which is not really what it was designed for,but has held up well .Only repairs were related to rock damage, and 1 front wheel bearing. Has 67000 miles.

I very much like my car. I would like better gas mileage, especially on the expressway.

I like the 2014 Ford Fusion. The ride is excellent and the seat comfort is far above average.

Good mid-size option

It's pretty spartan as far as modern cars go, not that fast. Engine noise is unpleasant. Comfortable ride, lots of trunk space.

Recall Notices

2010 Ford Fusion (11/1/2018)

Campaign Number: 18V775000
Component Name: AIR BAGS:PASSENGER SIDE FRONTAL
Manufacturer: Ford Motor Company
Description: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2010 Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan and 2010-2012 Lincoln MKZ vehicles that previously received a replacement passenger air bag under recall 16V-384, 17V-024 or 18V-046. In the event of a crash requiring deployment of the passenger air bag, the bracket that secures the air bag inflator to the module housing may deform, allowing the gas that inflates the air bag to leak out.
Defect: If the air bag does not inflate as intended, there is an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.
Corrective Action: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the passenger air bag module, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in November 2018. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 18S34.

2013 Ford Fusion (7/16/2018)

Campaign Number: 18V471000
Component Name: POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:LEVER AND LINKAGE:FLOOR SHIFT
Manufacturer: Ford Motor Company
Description: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2013-2014 Ford Escape, and 2013-2016 Ford Fusion vehicles, equipped with six-speed automatic transmissions. The bushing that attaches the transmission shifter cable to the transmission may degrade over time and cause the bushing to detach from the transmission. The condition could allow the driver to move the shift lever to Park and remove the ignition key, while the transmission may not be in Park, with no warning message or audible chime.
Defect: If the vehicle is exited without the transmission being in Park and without the parking brake being applied, the vehicle may unexpectedly move, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the shifter cable bushing, free of charge. The recall began September 20, 2018. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 18S20. Note: Owners are directed to use the parking brake until the recall remedy repairs can be made.
