Thumbs Up

Great road car; eats up miles at speed comfortably. Controls fall readily to hand. Power, braking, suspension, poise all quite good. Buy it again? Probably, but I pine for the V series. No such thing as too much horsepower. Just need more $$$.

Luxury Sedan that can perform like a sports car

I love my Cadillac CTS V-Sport. Driving to work or out on the highway it is quiet, smooth and comfortable. It has more features that I will ever use. I have gotten spoiled by all of the automatic features. But the car has a hidden side - when you nail the accelerator or turn quickly through a corner you find a performance car. Gas mileage has also been good - I get better than the EPA sticker values. On a recent trip averaging 75mph I got over 24mpg on the freeway, while having my 420HP available for quick passing as needed. In town I get about 18mpg.

Great performance Sedan for the money if you can pay for the maintaince!

I love my Caddy! It handles like a corvette corners like mad and will put your head back on acceleration all the way to 150mph. If you can find this rare car with under 50k miles it is affordable now and should give you many years of driving fun ( if you can afford thee maintaince. ...) I still get compliments every time I take it out and its 10 years old!

2007 Cadillac CTS (9/9/2014)

Campaign Number: 14V542000
Component Name: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP
Manufacturer: General Motors LLC
Description: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V vehicles manufactured October 6, 2003, to March 15, 2007, and 2006-2007 Cadillac STS-V vehicles manufactured June 23, 2005, to March 15, 2007. In the affected vehicles, the electrical terminals of the fuel pump module may overheat resulting in the melting of the flange material.
Defect: If the flange melts, a hole may be created allowing the fuel pump to leak fuel, causing the vehicle to stall, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash. Additionally, leaking fuel in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel module and fuel tank jumper harness, free of charge. GM sent out interim notices in late October. The recall began on March 12, 2015. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006. GM's number for this recall is 14405.
