2012 Ford F-150 Ratings, Reviews and Analysis

Instead of making huge changes to their marque product, Ford engineers made a number of smaller changes when they designed the 2012 model. These changes include a 36-gallon fuel tank for all turbocharged four-wheel drive models, instead of last year's 26 gallons. Those buying the higher-priced trim packages such as the Harley, SVT Raptor, and Platinum-in four-wheel drive, get to play with an automatic two-speed transfer case, while most everyone else gets an electronic locking rear-end instead of the old limited slip differential that was standard in prior years. One new feature that many buyers will really like is the fact that they can now tow their four-wheel drive-equipped F-150 without a trailer due to the new neutral tow capability. Those looking at the upper trim options will also have enhanced Sync capabilities to use with their smartphones.

this is a test -- don't get excited (mnavasca@lemonfree.com)

It's hard to complain when you're the best-selling pickup truck on the market, and for the new model year, the 2013 Ford F-150 has added a few features, too. That's important, because the competition is gaining ground in their attempt to catch up with this Ford's sales.

Love my F150

I bought the 2012 F150 after having lots of problems with my 2006 F150. Love the roomy back seat. I purchased the 5 liter V8 over the ecoboost due to my dad's Ecoboost not being very consistant. I would purchase again.

Love the look and style.

Only dislike I have is Allstar Ford dealership in Denham Springs, LA. Just didn't feel like I got the best Ford customer quality there. Otherwise, I love my truck! Thanks Ford Motor for the design! Proud to have a true USA product!
