2008 Ford F-150 Ratings, Reviews and Analysis

Most Americans, when they think "most popular American made vehicle by sales volume" are going to think Camaro, Mustang, or maybe Taurus. Not many of us are going to consider a truck as having more sales volume than a car, especially these cars. However, when 2008 rolled around, that was the case-in fact, the F-Series of trucks was enjoying a nearly three decade long run as the most popular American made vehicle according to sales volume, with the F-150 leading the pack in sales volume. This is because the F-150 has always appealed to the class of truck buyer that uses their truck for more than just work.

This popularity stems from multiple factors, the leading ones being its toughness, how easy it is to drive, the fact that it delivers an incredibly smooth and quiet ride for a truck, and the dizzying number of choices that are available. F-150 buyers have three body styles, and multiple trim packages-between three and eight trims were available, depending on body style chosen-to choose from.

overall extremely satisfied

like the look and payload capacity. The interior is more than adequate for head and foot room both in front seats and back seat of my crew cab.. the engine has enough power to tow both my 32 ft boat or my 28 ft snowmobile trailer.

Love it, going to keep it as long as I can.

I have had this truck since right after high school, bought it as a graduation present to myself. I am now 22 and the truck has 51k miles on it and I have not had a single problem with it. It's gotten me anywhere I need to go and living in Alaska, that can be through some pretty bad weather. I love this truck and am going to keep it as long as I can, hopefully will be passing it down to my kids. :)
