Only thing I wish was 1 we'd gotten it sooner and 2 we'd have gotten the Crew Cab. Rides better than the 2003 Taurus and is much quieter than any car we've owned. Mileage up to 20 mpg at 70 mph with 3 different drivers from Texas to Nebraska.
2007 Ford F-150 Ratings, Reviews and Analysis
Everybody wants to see things that are new from one year to the next in vehicles and this is even true when the vehicle in question is America's most popular truck. Ford knows this, which is one reason why it's so popular. Ford engineers relented to pressure and gave owners of the 2007 F-150 an auxiliary input jack for their portable media players, except in the Base XL. Another new feature for model year 2007 was the lateral side bolsters in the front seats, making for more comfort on longer drives.
Ford added new options in 2007 as well. These included Sirius Satellite radio for the first time. This normally came with a free subscription for up to a year. F-150 buyers from previous years complained that the sporty models were too expensive, so engineers added the sporty FX2 package (only available in rear-wheel-drive), which came with sporty styling and special 18 inch custom wheels. Lariat buyers also got a new option in 2007: Folding side mirrors-with the driver's side being auto-dimming-while those that wanted to sport Harley-Davidson colors gained the SuperCrew model but lost the SuperCab model as options. Ford also extended the powertrain warranty to five years or 60,000 miles in 2007.

This is the truck to get the job done. Pulling the boat, carrying dirt, riding in the mud, ford for life. Ill never own another brand of truck as long as I live. My ford has never failed me. My son will get it when he gets 16
I like the roominess of my F150, and also love the 4x4. The 4.6L engine is extremely reliable. It works great for hauling smaller items like ATV's, golf carts, snowmobiles etc. I upgraded to heavy duty brakes since the factory setup stopping power was weak and the pads also created a lot of dust on the wheels. Other than that the truck has been great. I have 160,000 trouble free miles, I plan on hitting at least another 100k miles.
My F150 had been a dependable, comfortable economical (for being a full size V8 truck) The only problem was the window regulators went out. Regular maintenance I assumed would be the key to keeping the repair costs to a minimum. I was wrong almost 5 years and 58,000 miles into ownership (out of warranty) the transmission gave out. Ford said because I did not take in to there overpriced service department they would not fix it. Even though I have all my receipts from taking it in for regular maintenance. Looking on the Internet I have found the planetary going out in these transmission is fairly common. Ford lost a customer. Dodge and GM make full size trucks as well.
I have had my 2007 F-150 King Ranch for about 10 months now and I love this truck! It was much more than I needed in a truck but with the deal I got it for, I couldn't pass it up. I love modifying vehicles regardless of make and model, so far this truck has been a dream for me and loads of fun to customize!
