2013 Ford F-150 Ratings, Reviews and Analysis

Many Ford F-150 owners are also owners of Harley-Davidson motorcycles. These owners will be disappointed to learn that the much loved Harley Edition is no longer an option. It will be replaced by what Ford has called the "Limited Edition." New tech enhancements include xenon bulbs for added visibility on dark streets at night, a new safety feature called hill-descent control, and the MyFord Touch Infotainment system with larger, more accessible Sync controls on some models.

Great car to ride; good investment to make

I like the height that the seat provides. I am short and have a hard time seeing out of the front glass; this model allows me to raise my seat to a comfortable level and gives me appropriate height to drive from. I like the mileage that we get (>40 miles). It is also comfortable and holds 5 people with ample space in-between.

Hate it

not real happy.. Bought this truck for towing my camper.. it even has the tow package.. and the salesman showed me the little package with the wiring harness to connect a brake controller. I have a brake controller.. but the instructions in the FORD wiring harness say to connect it to the plug under the dash.. The plug is there.. but no wires coming from it.. it isnt connected to anything. I did a little internet research and FORD apparently has decided to quit running the wiring in the 2013 models. It will cost me more money to have wiring run... that FORD should have done. I called FORD and complained.. but they don't seem to care. I will never buy another FORD.

We are and always be a FORD family.

We have the F150 and Mustang. We will soon be adding a third, an Explorer. We enjoy the dealers and their customer service. Driving a FORD there is no comparison to the other vehicles on the road. That will not ever change.

2013 Ford F-150 (5/24/2016)

Campaign Number: 16V345000
Component Name: SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FLUID
Manufacturer: Ford Motor Company
Description: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 F-150 vehicles manufactured August 1, 2013, to August 31, 2014 equipped with 3.5L engines. The master cylinder rear cup seal may roll, resulting in brake fluid leakage from the primary reservoir into the brake booster.
Defect: Loss of brake fluid from the primary reservoir results in a complete loss of front brake function, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the brake master cylinder and, if necessary, the brake booster, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on July 11, 2016. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 16S24.
