Honda Accord Ratings, Reviews and Analysis

It's no secret. Modern vehicles are more reliable than ever, thanks to industry-wide quality processes that are more or less universally applied across all auto manufacturers. Though quality surveys differ in the specifics, most present the same clear trend: the gap between the best- and worst-performing vehicles is much narrower than it ever has been. How, then, does the Honda Accord hold onto its reputation as a default choice among midsize sedans?

As reliability becomes less of a differentiator between competing midsize sedans, savvy car shoppers are changing their focus. Fuel efficiency, in-car connectivity and interior appointments are more important than ever among shoppers seeking maximum value. In each of these areas, the once-trailblazing Accord finds itself squarely mid-pack. Subtract older Accords' visceral charm, and factor in the current vehicle's pedigreed pricetag. It's a formula that could forecast a fall from grace for the Honda Accord -- especially if the competition maintains its half-step lead.

Great with low mileage

Well we live deep in the woods where no one plows and it did get us out in the winter time so that is a plus. It is just a front wheel drive, we did however get new season tires on it.

Love this car!! Hope it lasts

It is a bit low to the ground to get into and out of. I like that I can still get parts for it, even after all these years. As mentioned earlier, it rides exceptionally well due to the double-wishbone suspension.

Great, Will keep it til it dies

It is so reliable and great on gas mileage. The car is 17 years old and still gets 40 miles to the gallon on the highway and I average about 32 around town. It drives just as good as the day I bought it.

Great Reliable Car!

The auxilery adapter is in the wrong location. It should be moved to a reachable spot maybe under the radio or under the air condition controls. Right now it's in the center console and it's hard to reach the cords that need to connect to my phone.

Component Name: AIR BAGS:PASSENGER SIDE FRONTAL
Manufacturer: Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)
Description: Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2003 Honda Accord Coupe vehicles, equipped with a four-cylinder engine. If the passenger frontal air bag module has been replaced, such as after a crash necessitating frontal air bag deployment, the replacement air bag module may include a Takata air bag inflator. Corrective Action: Honda will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the vehicle and replace any Takata inflator used in the passenger frontal air bag module, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin May 1, 2017. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's number for this recall is KF0.
