Great vehicle.

This was acquired as a low mileage vehicle originally from Florida. It is a pleasure to drive and is super dependable. It is not like the cranky (but fun!) Jags of earlier decades. It is a head turner and a great touring vehicle that is agile on the highway, and a real gem on winding roads.

Seekign a spare to put in hermetic storage in case some fool hits me in this one.

Overly complex security electronics. Wasn't hard, but also needed to re-engineer some cooling-system stupidity under the hood. Puzzled that the factory alleged-"Engineers" would do things a Redneck mechanic alrerady KNEW were dirt-stupid. Pleased they could be so cheaply and easily made right.

True Classic Jaguar Luxury Excellence

i absolutely love every single thing about this car, (exception gas mileage), Beautiful, reliable, safe, secure, comfortable, fun, sturdy, healthy, sexy, elegant, and desirable. I have never once had any problems with it. It's always ready to go even after long periods of non-use. Great responsive steering, powerful engine, excellent non-obstructed 360 view. aerodynamic, sleek and rich. I have 3 of them, (1990 xj6. 1996 Vanden Plas, and 2003 Xj8) and would buy another in a heartbeat.

WOW!

See above. Everything Lucas: electronics, wiring, housings. And those bloody passive restraint shoulder harnesses that keep shorting out and draining the battery. Poor design for entry, causes excessive wear on the leather trim. In 1989, this was reputed to be the fastest production car ever made. It certainly seems to be true.
