Pleasant to drive, very reliable, and appreciating!

Likes: Spent 35 years with a domestic car manufacturer who frowned on foreign ownership BUT I must admit I'm not used to driving a car with 90,000+ miles without a squeak, rattle, nor visual evidence of any wear and tear. Smooth shifting 5 speed transmission. Dislike; Steering effort on manual steering 911's of this vintage and weak cold air conditioning or as a few say "the warm air is period correct".

Class higher performance sports car. A real 911 Porsche

The car represents all that 12 years of 911 development produced. Thousands of modifications year after year of racing to improve the road car. I have driven MG's 1958 Austin Healy 100, 1947 Allard K2, 1967 Porsche 912, 1972 BMW 2000tii, 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV. This was my favorite.

What a blast, top down

997 S Cabrio, really don't need the extra power, but most cars were ordered that way. Cruising along with the top down, whether on a cool fall night with the heated seats on, or just driving along with the sun out listening to tunes. How can you beat it. There have been issues with some Porsche's but I have not seen it yet. The cable from the alternator to the battery is undersized and can be replaced, but if you trickle charge the battery there is no starting issues. Oh the only thing bas is the early 997 keys.
