Best winter SUV made - shame it was discontinued after 2014

25000 miles in first 1 1/2 years. Excellent winter traction and handling (live in the mountains) - best winter performance of any Subaru I have owned - much better than Chevy suburban 4wd. Able to tow small to medium trailers (truck chassis) and still handles great towing a trailer. Best acceleration and handling for a big SUV. Nearly the same utility as my old suburban but much more comfortable. Vehicle maligned for underpowered engine and goofy looks when first released but both issues fixed in 2010. Much nicer vehicle than Chevy Traverse ! No mechanical or electrical problems. Beautiful stereo system. Flexible folding seats make diversity of cargo options. When traveling with 6 passengers, we fold down 1 of the 3rd row seats and have lots of room for luggage / groceries.
