I respect it as a fine piece of engineering

I wanted more luxury, but was unwilling to pay for that, nevertheless I am nicely satisfied with my selection. The color is desert tan, a metallic color with an overcoat, and that still looks just great. I would do it all over again, with pleasure.

Great

No replacement parts except starters (2) , after 20 years and 160,000 miles. Brakes, and tires last much longer than most other cars. No problems with "boots". The upholstery is still in very good shape. The motor (6 cyl.) is still strong. Transmission still shifts smoothly! It's been a great car!

Very impressed

I like the Camry because it is so dependable. My previous car was a 1999 Toyota Camry with 300.000 miles on it. I gave it to my granddaughter as it was still running great. I intend to give my 2007 to another granddaughter that just received her learners permit.

One great vehicle!

Low maintenance costs. There are still lots of 1999 models on the road today, which proves my car is not an exception to the rule. I would buy this model year again. That's how much I love this car. Great vehicle!

Why doesn't everyone drive a hybrid?

Loaded Camry hybrid. Quiet, composed ride city or highway. 40-45 mpg (imperial gallon) city or highway. Nav works great, sound system great, voice control works like a charm. I owned the 1st generation Camry hybrid too, but like this one much more. I really like the CVT transmission. Can't get real leather at any trim level, Toyota forces you to go to Lexus to get leather now. I find the driver's seat a little too firm.
