2006 Toyota Tacoma TRD

4.0L V6 paired with an automatic transmission. The engine runs strong with no issues, the transmission shifts smooth through each gear, the 4x4 locks in and out with no problem and the A/C and heat work perfect. I would not hesitate to make a cross country run in this Tacoma, these things are very reliable. This is a nice and clean truck that is very affordable, and would make a very good candidate as a first vehicle for a son or even a daughter.

Tacomas' are just great

Just a great overall small truck. Much better than all the other options, american made or foreign. I'm a ford guy so I wish Ford could make a small truck this well. If I buy a large truck it will be a Ford, but for small trucks, you can't beat the Toyota

I would highly recommend this truck.

This is a great truck .I am really surprised at the room for a small truck.I also think the gas mileage is good, especially when you compare it to similar models. My work needs have changed but I would recommend this truck to anyone. This truck has high mileage but runs like new.

A good buy.

Liked that it sits high off the ground. Low-slung cars are hard to get into and out of. and this pickup is a lot easier for an older person to enter and exit. I also like that it's plain, work-a-day appearance makes it a little bit less theft-prone than, say, a Honda Accord.
